In 2019, the current owners, Rita Líbano Monteiro and Paulo Cunhal Sendin, sons of Ana Maria Cunhal, the fourth generation of the farm’s buyer, made the decision to build the new Adega da Amoreira da Torre.

The project includes the winery itself and the company's administration building. 

With a sober, discreet and contemporary language, the architecture is designed by Luís Líbano Monteiro and the Landscape Architecture by Rosário Oliveira.

The cellar work begins in 2020, runs over 12 months, being completed in May 2021.

The 2021 harvest was the nineteenth harvest and the first at Adega nova.
